Established in 1904, the Brevard County Medical Society (BCMS) is a professional and scientific organization of medical and osteopathic physicians in Brevard County, and the local affiliate of both the Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association. The organization, comprised of more than 400 community physicians, works to promote quality medical care and provide patient advocacy, public information and health education to residents in Brevard and beyond. The organization also provides a free Physician Referral Service, linking residents to local practicing physicians who belong to BCMS.
